Jones CPA Group, P.C. (JCG) is pleased to announce the promotions of Kathleen Davanzo and Henry Petersen to Senior Manager and that Heather L. Hogue graduated from the University of Phoenix July 18, 2015 receiving her Masters of Science degree in Accountancy.

  • Kathleen A. Davanzo, CPA, CFE - Kathleen Davanzo has been promoted to Senior Manager at our Norfolk office.  She has recently earned the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).  Additionally, she is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. A graduate of Lakeland College,   Kathleen has been with our firm for 15 years. Her experience includes performing a variety of audit, review, and compilation engagements as well as monthly accounting work.  She also handles forensic accounting engagements for fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence.
  • Henry T. Petersen, CPA, MSA, CFE - Henry Petersen has been promoted to Senior Manager at our Virginia Beach office.  He has recently earned the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).  A graduate of Old Dominion University and Saint Leo University, Henry has been with our firm for over 7 years.  His professional experience includes corporate, partnership and fiduciary accounting and taxation, as well as business advisory and fraud prevention, detection, and control services.  Henry also works extensively on individual  and business taxation, tax planning, compilations, reviews, and other special engagements.
  • Heather L. Hogue, MSA - Heather Hogue graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix in the summer of 2015.  She is currently studying for the CPA exam and plans to take it this spring.  She joined JCG in 2015. She has experience in the following industries:  nonprofits, real estate, restaurants, retail, and construction.
