VB Public Libraries to Host Summer Farm Stands

Virginia Beach Public Library (VBPL) and the Virginia Beach Department of Agriculture have partnered for the fourth year to provide Beach residents with convenient access to locally-grown farm products. Farmers will set up stands beginning June 2 at Bayside and Kempsville libraries. Two additional stands will open at the Central and Princess Anne libraries later in June. Produce will vary by location. Following is the 2016 VBPL Farm Stand schedule:
- Bayside Area Library: Flip Flop Farmer - Thursdays and Saturdays, 10 AM - 2 PM, beginning Thursday, June 2
- Kempsville Area Library: Vaughan Farms - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 AM - 2 PM, beginning Thursday, June 2
- Princess Anne Area Library: Nottalotta Acres Urban Farm - Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10 AM - 2 PM, beginning Tuesday, June 7
- Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library: Flanagan Farm - Tuesdays and Fridays, 10 AM - 2 PM, beginning Tuesday, June 21
