Pender & Coward is pleased to announce that Patrick Maurer has been accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML).  AAML Fellowship standards and requirements ensure that only lawyers with substantial experience in handling complex family law matters, having a strong practice focus, recognition from the bench and bar, and involvement in the education and improvement of the practice of matrimonial law are admitted as Fellows. Patrick serves as vice chair of the Domestic Relations Section Council of the VBA and as a member of the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar.  An AV® Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, he has also been recognized as one of Coastal Virginia’s Top Lawyers in Adoption, Marital and Family Law and Criminal Defense by Coastal Virginia Magazine.
