Over 13,000 people rang in the new year at Pembroke Mall and Town Center during Last Night on the Town 2015. The event began at the mall with children's entertainment by Magical Solutions, Inc. delighting the crowd. Kids of all ages celebrated with a countdown and balloon drop at 5:00 PM. The festivities continued at Town Center with roving street performers including fire eaters, a flash mob, stilt walkers and more. Revelers enjoyed live music by multiple bands, with a spectacular performance by headline act Cherry Poppin' Daddies, as fireworks, and a laser light show lit up the sky! Event MCs Allen Fabian and WVEC-TV Weatherman Craig Moeller added to the fun, while Town Center's restaurants and hotels were at capacity with locals and visitors enjoying the night!
