CBDA was pleased to host John Martin, CEO of the Southeastern Institute of Research (SIR) during its April 27 luncheon at the Virginia Beach Westin. John's presentation "Answering Heavy Questions About Light Rail" shared SIR's experience in working with developing transportation systems throughout the country. John discussed the extension of The Tide into Virginia Beach as the next step in a regional transportation system throughout Hampton Roads from a national perspective, addressed local perceptions (or mis-perceptions) and imperatives for progress.
