Congratulations to CBDX president Joash Schulman who was the recipient of the 2016 CBDA President's Award.  CBDA President Chris Stone presented the award to Joash during the CBDA's 30th Anniversary luncheon on June 9. Joash was chosen for his "cohesive and managed approach" to his involvement with the Central Business District Association.

Joash's dedication to CBDA is evidenced by the tremendous amount of time and effort he puts into his service on CBDA committees, CBDA's effort to extend the Tide light rail system into Virginia Beach, and his leadership as CBDX President. As the owner of two small businesses in Town Center, Joash was also commended for his involvement as a stakeholder in the Pembroke SGA.
