Join the United Way of South Hampton Roads in supporting the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 12, from 6:00 am – 12:00 pm, location = Your Mailbox

On Saturday, May 12, Campbell Soup Company will join forces with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) to Stamp Out Hunger across America.

Now in its 20th year, the Stamp Out Hunger effort is the nation's largest single-day food drive.

The Foodbank asks that on Saturday, May 12, you please set out what you can to help those who are food insecure in Hampton Roads. Postal carriers will pick up all non-perishable food items that are placed in a bag by your mail-box.

Unfortunately, despite the generosity of millions of Americans who have supported the letter carriers' food drive in previous years, the need for food assistance has never been greater.

The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia serves 1 in 4 people in our community and that number isn't getting smaller. We appreciate any support you give us in this effort.

For more information about the annual Stamp Out Hunger effort in your community, visit their website, Facebook page or follow along on Twitter. For more information go to www.helpstampouthunger.com
